Saying Good to Retired and Hello to New Product – Product Highlight of the Week

Happy Monday!

It’a a new week and the last week of May..can you believe it? The days are just flying by! It’s an exciting time and sad time at the same time in the Stampin’ Up! World!! It’s a sad week as this is the last week for us to order any of our favourite from the Last Chance List ( AKA Retiring LIst) before they leave us on June 2.

This week for Product Highlight, I decide it would be fun to highlight some of my favourite products leaving us and some of my favourite new products that will be joining us on June 3. So one day we will focus on a retiring products and the next day we will focus on the New Product.

Today we are featuring the Peaceful Poppies Designer Series Paper as sadly this paper is leaving us on June 2, 2020. Currently this paper is still available to purchase but remember it’s only while supplies last!

I decided to pull this project out of the vault and share it again with you! It’s one of my favourites as it’s a great way to show off pattern paper and use up your scrap pieces! You could easily switch the pattern out.

This card came together nicely since I used my Stitched Shape dies and a die cutting machine. I cut the squares with the smallest die from the group of stitched shaped squares. Then I just laid them out to how I wanted the patterns to go and then I glued them down. My poppies were stamped in Memento Ink for the outline and Poppy Parade ink for the inside of the poppies and then I cut them out with the Poppies Dies.

Sneak Peak 2020 Annual Catalogue – Product Highlight of the Week

Hello,

It’s a new week and this week I will be featuring sneak peaks of new products from the 2020-2022 Annual Catalogue Preorder. This new annual catalogue is filled with gorgeous new products and I can’t wait to share it with you. We only have a few more weeks till it goes live but I thought I would start by sharing some of my favourites from Preorder!

One of my favourite new suites from the new Annual Catalogue is the World of Good Suite. This new suite is perfect for documenting your travels. The travel patterns and brass accents will be the perfect way to preserve your worldwide adventures!

My card today was a CASE from the 2020 Annual catalogue and you can find this sample on page 26. My card features the new Beautiful World Bundle ( stamp set and dies), World of Good Specialty Designer Series Paper ( this paper is a MUST), the new Incolour Cinnamon Cider card stock and the new Misty Moonlight Ink Pad ( I used the ink spot from this month’s May Paper Pumpkin Kit)

The globes were stamped in Memento ink onto a scrap piece of Whisper White card stock. For the green globe, I coloured it with my Mossy Meadows Stampin’ Blends and then used my Colour Lifter Stampin’ Blend to remove a bit of the colour, this helps add those highlights in the shading. For the blue globe, I used a blender pen and the Misty Moonlight ink spot ( from the May Paper Pumpkin Kit) to colour it in.

Come Sail Away Memories and More Card CASE

Happy Friday!!

Today, project is one that was a CASE from the 2019 Annual catalogue. You can find this sample on page 145 that showcase the Come Sail Away Suite.

For my project today, I wanted to focus on the Come Sail Away Memories and More card pack which is perfect for documenting your travel or creating cards with them. Today I wanted to show a card that I made using one of the memories and more cards.

This pack of cards includes 50 double sided cards ( 2 each of 25 designs) that comes in 3″ by 4″ or 4″ by 6″ sizes. You also get single sided laser cut specialty card; 4 sticker sheets.

My card came together very quickly! I used one of the memories and more card for my bold greeting, and the compass was fussy cut from the Come Sail Away Designer Series Paper. I stamped the other compass in Night of Navy ink onto a piece of white card stock and punch it out with 1 1/2″ circle punch. The banner behind the compass was also from the pattern paper. To finish it off, I created a twine bow. My card size is 4 1/4″ by 8 1/2″, score at 4 1/4″.
