Happy Friday!
TGIF! Omg, I’m so happy its the weekend!! It’s been a long week at work, and to be honest I’m not sure I could have done another day! I’m looking forward to some down time this weekend!
Today, I’m sharing the two cards that we made in our Wednesday Night Crafty Session. We are focusing on the Festive Friends Bundle and the Traditions of Christmas Specialty Designer Series Paper.

Both of these cards show a technique on them. We actually made these at our Inspire, Create and Connect event back in October.

The first card features the Irresistible Designs Specialty Designer Series Paper that you can find in our Annual Catalogue. The really neat thing about this paper the UV-coated pattern resist ink the perfect canvas for emboss resist technique. We added a little bit of Pool Party Ink behind Santa.
I stamped Santa in Memento Ink onto Basic White Cardstock. I coloured him in using the following Stampin’ Blends: Real Red, Old Olive, Basic Black and Petal Pink.
Measurements for the Santa Card:
- Old Olive Cardstock – 5 1/2″ by 8 1/2″ score at 4 1/4″
- Real Red Cardstock – 4″ by 5 1/4″
- Irresistible Designer Series Paper – 3 3/4″ by 5″
The second card that we made showcasing the Masking Technique.

We stamped the first elf in the middle of the Basic White Cardstock using Memento Ink. Then we stamped the Elf image onto a piece of Post Note paper and cut him out. We laid the Post Note Elf over the Memento Ink Elf and then we stamped two more elves on either side of the masked one. This helps gives the illusion that the Green Elf is in the front.
Measurement for Elves Card:
- Basic White Cardstock – 5 1/2″ by 8 1/2″ score at 4 1/4″
- Pool Party Cardstock – 4″ by 5 1/4″
- Basic White Cardstock – 3 1/2″ by 4 3/4″
- Scraps of Cardstock: Basic White
