Apple Builder Punch Thank you Card

Happy Monday!

Hope you had a great weekend! It’s was a busy one around here. Actually the last few weeks have been busy as we try to adjust to some new routines! I’m hoping this week we can get into more of a blogging schedule!

My coworker asked me to create a custom “Thank you” card for her. She wanted a school theme card as they were using it to say Thank you to the staff for her daughter’s internship.

I thought it would be fun to use the Apple Builder Punch and create a chalkboard look. I was thrilled when I found a chalkboard theme pattern in the In Good Taste Designer Series Paper. I kept the card simple as I wanted to focus on the apples!

Love of Leaves Friendship Card

Happy Monday!

Hope you had a great weekend! It was a busy one around here as we tried to check off a few things off our to do list while the weather was sunny but very cool for this time of year.

My project today is one that I created for my Online Workshop in August. I absolutely LOVE the Love of Leaves Bundle and had to show off this gorgeous stamp set and the stitched leaves. I love FALL and stitched dies, so you can imagine how excited I was to see this new bundle in the August to December catalogue.

One thing I love about the Love of Leaves stamp set is that you can use the greeting for everyday use. It’s the perfect way to send a card to someone to let them know you are thinking of them!

Have a Hoot Halloween Card

Hello,

Hope you had a great day! Today I’m sharing a project that was one our  make and takes at our team meeting this past weekend. It was our first team meeting in person since March 2020 and let me tell you it was SO GREAT to see everyone!

Each month at our meeting, we stamp and assemble two projects that were created for our team planner. I have team up with my good friend Rose and each month we both make two projects for our planners. This way our team has 4 projects that they can use for their own creating at home!

My card today was a CASE ( Copy and Share Everything) from the August to December 2020 Mini Catalogue. This new bundle is perfect way to help you celebrate the holidays with your family and friend as you can create Halloween or Christmas theme projects.

I wanted my card to look spooky in the background so I splatter Wink of Stella Glitter Pen in the background to spooky night sky! My owl, tree and spider were coloured with Stampin’ Blends.

Have a Hoot Halloween Card

Hello,

When you sit down to create a card, do you use a card sketch or colour combination to help get the creative juices flowing? I was searching on social media, when I came across Wendy Cranford’s Colour Splash ten using the following colours.

When I first saw these colours, it automatically spoke Halloween to me! So I created a fun Halloween Card using these colours and the Have a Hoot stamp set.

I wented with the base colours of Rich Razzleberry and Granny Apple Green for my card design. Then I pulled in the other colours of Pumpkin Pie and Crushed Curry on my owl and pumpkin.

I wanted a spooky feeling to my card so I randomly stamped cobwebs all over my card base with Granny Apple Green ink. So what do you think of this fun colour combination, is it one that you will try out?

Let’s Celebrate you

Hello,

Today, I’m sharing a card that I made back in the summer for a swap that I was participating in. I was swapping with other leaders here in Canada and our theme was the new Annual catalogue so that meant we could choose any new product to work with.

When creating my card, I wanted to add some of the new 2020 Incolour into it and decided that Cinnamon Cider was the perfect match for my card.

I decided to add a little bit of texture on my card by embossing a piece of Crumb Cake card stock with the Old World Map 3D Embossing Folder. Just look at that extra detail in the background!

Does the layout look familiar? I used the same layout on my card yesterday that I featured with the Nothing Better Then Bundle. I really want to share with you that you can use the same layout for projects but switch out the products being used. Do you ever just CASE yourself with past projects? I do it all the time.

Nothing Better – Chocolate Kind of Day

Happy Monday!

Hope you are having a great start to your week! It’s our Labour Day long weekend here which is nice as it means an extra day off to get things done around the house. It’s been a busy week so I’m using this weekend to get caught up on a few things around the house and in my business.

If you have been following me for sometime, you know that I LOVE chocolate! I love anything that has to do with caramels, M&M”S, peanut butter and chocolate, dark chocolate and just good old milk chocolate! Basically any chocolate is good!

I challenge myself to use a colour combination that featured one of the new 2020 Incolours. I decided to go with Cinnamon cider as I thought that was a good pairing for the theme on my card. Using the Stampin’ Up! colour coach, I paired it with Cherry Cobbler, White and Crumb Cake.

This would be a great colour combination for fall projects also, might have to give this a try on a project! Please share with me if you create a project with this colour combination as I would love to see it.

Need to Order Supplies: You can either email me your order OR you can head to my ONLINE STORE. Don’t forget to use the HOSTESS CODE: YKEVGW6A Order over $50 you will qualify for my Customer Thank You Special for the month of September.
