Share What You Love – Saturday Facebook Live

Happy Saturday!

It’s my favourite day of the week, as it the day I get to craft with all of you! I love Saturday mornings as it’s Facebook Live day! This morning, I featured the new Share What You Love Bundle and showcase two cards that you can create with this Amazing bundle. My cards were CASED from the new Annual catalogue that will begin on June 1st, 2018.

Share What You Love Bundle by Stampin' Up!

My first card showcase the returning favourite colour of Mint Macaron. So happy that this colour is back in the line up and will be around for a few years! I used the Quilt Embossing folder to add a little bit of detail in the background. I was going for a soft look in the background.

The second card feature one of my new favourite Incolour called Grapefruit Grove. I’m not sure why I love this colour, but I can’ t stop using it. I think it’s just so fresh and reminds me of Spring and Summer!

During my facebook live, I was telling my viewers that I have been using a lot of Vellum card stock these days, I love how it adds a soft touch to the projects.

Want to learn how to create these two projects,  I have included the Facebook Live video from today for you to watch!

If you place an order from today to Monday at midnight, I will send you the supplies to create these two cards. You will just need Mint Macaron and Grapefruit Grove ink pad and the Love What You Do Stamp Set to complete them.

Painted Harvest Mother’s Day Card

Hello,

Over the weekend, I spend some time creating in my studio. I had a mission as I had to create 20 cards for Lovebird Flowers. I sell my cards in a local flower shop in London and the owner Lisa asked me to create some card for Mother’s Days.

Painted Harvest Stamp Set by Stampin' Up!

I challenged myself to use stamp sets that are either retiring or carrying over to the new Annual Catalogue. I decide to go with Painted Harvest as I have not used this stamp set in awhile. This set was one of my go to in the Fall when it was first featured in the Holiday Catalogue.

After searching Pinterest for some colour inspiration and a layout design, I came up with this one.

I used the following colour Combination:

This colour combo is so much fun, I love how it adds a little pop of colour with the Lemon Lime Twist! I think I might have to try this combination again on another card!

This month for our make and takes, we focus on the Lemon Zest bundle. The great news is that this bundle is carrying over into the new catalogue BUT sad news is it won’t be bundle anymore. Which means if this is on your wishlist, you might want to get now while you can save 10%.

On this card we focused on learning how to do the Background wash with an Aqua Painter and Shimmery White paper. This look is so hot and trendy right now! I love that it adds that little extra element to your card.

Saturday Facebook Live – You Are My Anchor Paper Pumpkin Kit

Hello,

It’s Saturday and that means it’s time for another Facebook Live. This week I thought I would showcase this month’s Paper Pumpkin Kit called You Are My Anchor. At Onstage, we saw a sneak peak of this kit and I couldn’t wait to get it! I love the colours and the nautical theme. The best part is that you can use this kit for any occasion or theme.

On my Facebook live, I share the joy and excitement of opening the kit, and then walk you through all the different elements in the monthly kit. Each kit comes with an exclusive stamp set, a classic stampin spot that won’t repeat in colour in a 12 month period. Plus you get all the supplies to create the projects in the kit.

Alternate card created with the You Are MY Anchor Paper Pumpkin Kit

One of my focus for the video was to show you how to create an alternate card with all the supplies that you had left over in the kit. I wanted to focus on the Lighthouse with a little bit of technique on my cards. Creating a background wash with an aqua painter is so trendy and I love this look! My tip: you want to use an Aqua Painter and Shimmery White card stock.

Once I was done creating my background wash, I ran my shimmery white card stock thru the Big Shot with the Seaside Embossing Folder and then I add a little bit of flecking with an Island Indigo marker.

Want to learn how to create these two projects,  I have included the Facebook Live video from today for you to watch!

Remember if you place an order from today to Monday at midnight, I will send the supplies to create the 2 of the Alternate card. All you need is an Aqua Painter, Pool Party ink pad, Island Indigio marker, and Nautical stamp set like the You Are My Anchor or High Tide would also work for this project.

You can either email me your order OR you can head to my ONLINE STORE.  Don’t forget to use the HOSTESS CODE: QFP77G6Z AND if you bump up your order to $50 you will qualify for hostess code special for the month of April, where you will earn a FREE Wink of Stella Glitter Pen.

WWYS164 – Petal Palette Guest Designer

Happy Monday!!

It’s the start of a new week and that means it time for a new challenge over at What Will We Stamp. I’m so excited to share that I have been asked to be a Guest Designer for this week’s challenge. Our challenge was to create a project with the Petal Palette stamp set.

When I sat down to create my project, I decided to find a sketch online and create from there. Once I had the sketch, then it was time to play with my stamps, paper and ink.

WWYS#164 - Petal Palette

I was one of the lucky people at Onstage to win one of the brand new returning colour Mint Macaron. I’m excited that this colour is returning as it a nice soft green. Since it was on my desk, I just had to use it on my project.

WWYS#164 - Petal Palette

As I was creating my card, I went with the clean and simple look as I really wanted to focus on my flowers. My flowers were coloured with a Blender Pen and the Flirty Flamingo inked. I’m excited to say that this colour is carrying over into the new Colour Revamp and Refresh. Once my flowers were dry, I fussy cut them out and pop them up to add a little bit of dimension. Of course my flowers need some glitter so I used my Wink of Stella Glitter Pen. This pen is a must in your collection!!!

So will you play along with this week challenge over at What Will You Stamp?  Want to see other idea’s on how to use this stamp set? Then head over to check out the gallery and see what others created with this stamp set!!!

You can order these supplies too! You’ll find all of these Stampin’ Up! supplies in my ONLINE  STAMPIN’ UP! STORE by clicking on all of the photo’s below.
