Clever Cats Halloween Card

Happy Halloween!

Each month at our team meeting, I ask one of my stampers to be Stamper of the Month where they showcase a stamp set. They have their choice of the stamp set that they want to work with and in return, they create samples for our team meeting.

Our stamper of the month in September was Jane, and she decided to create with the Welcome Woods stamp set from the July to December catalogue. She shared a variety of project that she made and then she share this card with us. You are probably wondering what does that have to do with the Clever Cats stamp set? Well, she used the Welcome Woods stamp set to create the basket for the cat to sit on. How clever is that? I love when we combine other Stampin’ Up! products to create many different idea’s then what it was intend for.

When she shared this card with our team, we were OMG..that is amazing!! I was lucky winner of this card at the meeting! Thanks Jane for sharing your projects with us!

Here are some highlights from her card:

Season of Fun – Crafting Session #38

Hello,

Today, I’m sharing with you the project that we creating together in our last Crafting Session #38. In this crafting session, we focused on Watercolouing with the Blender Pens, and the Watercolour Crayons.

These are one tools that I have not used in along time. I have seen so many beautiful projects done where they used the Watercolor Pencils and I thought it was time to dig mine out of my desk drawer.

My image was stamped in Staz-On Ink and coloured in with the Watercolor Pencil and then blend with the Blender Pens. Since, I was creating a Fall Card, I knew that the Beauty of Earth Designer Series Paper would be the perfect match! This paper is gorgeous and works for all your projects as it has paper to match all the different seasons.

Season of Fun Pumpkin Card

Happy Monday!

Hope you had a great weekend! It was a great one around here with lots of items checked off the do list. We had some sunny weather so it was a great time to work on the yard getting it ready for the winter months. I did manage to squeeze in sometime in my studio. I’m busy prepping for my Fundraiser Crop on Saturday Nov 6 for the Cardiac Rehab and Secondary Program, I can’t wait to share some of the pillow gifts after the event.

Today, I’m sharing a project that I made last week in my team’s weekly Stamp and Chat session. Each Tuesday night, I go live in our Facebook group with information on updates/reminders and then we finish the night off with some stamping. I was looking for some inspiration so I CASE myself with a card that I had on my desk. I used the layout and came up with this fun card for Fall!

I thought this would make a great card to send out in October for someone that had a birthday this month. Clever Cats Swap Card

Happy Monday!

Hope you had a great weekend! We had a great one with a some stamping, some downtime and doing errands. I’m popping into day to share a swap that I received back in the summer. I participated in a swap with other leaders here in Canada.

This swap card was designed my good friend Marcy and she used the Clever Cats stamp set. The one thing I love about swaps is that you get to see a variety of styles. I love using swaps cards for sketch ideas, colour cominbation and I get to share idea’s with my customers for products I don’t have. This is one of those sets that I don’t have but after seeing this adorable card, I think I should add to my list.

Thanks so much for stopping by today! It’s an holiday here in Canada as we celebrate our Thanksgiving weekend. We have so much to be blessed and thankful for this year! I’m grateful for each and everyone of you that support my Stampin’ Up! business and most of all I’m grateful for the friendship that I have meet along the way!

I created these card for my thank you card this month as I wanted them to know I appreciate their support with my business but most of all I appreciate their friendship. I have met the best friends through this stamping journey and I can’t imagine life without them.

Here in Canada we are very lucky to have 4 seasons and my favourite is Fall. I love everything about Fall, yummy pumpkin and apple desserts, cooler weather and most of watching all the leaves change to gorgeous colours of red, orange and yellow! It sure  makes beautiful scenery!

So my inspiration for my card today came from the beautiful colours in the leaves. I used the Gorgeous Leaves stamp set and stamped my leaves in Bumblebee Ink and Cajun Craze Ink on to a piece of white card stock. Then using the Stampin’ Cut and Emboss machine, I cut them out with the matching Intricate Leaves dies. The layout for my card was inspired by one that I saw on my friend Patty’s blog. One of my favourite things to do is to inspired by other projects and then use the sketch to create my own. Thanks for the inspiration Patty!

Thanks so much for stopping by today! As mentioned at the top, this is a blog hop so make sure you ‘hop’ around to all the amazing projects on this hop! Click on the links below to visit them.
