Hello,

I finally had a chance to play along with this week’s Global Design Project challenge. This weeks challenge was to CASE the Designer.

Global Design Project - CASE the Designer

This week they are CASING a beautiful project by their Design Team Member, Stesha Bloodhart, Stesha does amazing work and I’m excited to CASE one her projects. I also know when I’m looking at her project on social media, as she has unique style.

So with CASING a Designer, you can take what you like from the design and make it your own. It might be the stamp set – the colours, the layout, the theme, the images – whatever you like that has inspired you to make a card of your own.

Lemon Zest Bundle By Stampin' Up! CASING the Designer - Global Designer Project 132

I decided to CASE the layout of the card with a group of images near the bottom of the card. I had a few DL ask me what they could do with this bundle called Lemon Zest by Stampin’ Up! so I thought it would be fun to create a project with this set to show them.

Global Design Project 132 - CASE the Designer - I used Lemon Zest to create my project

I decided to start with a background wash that was created with my Aqua Painter and Daffodil Delight ink. Once it was dried, I then added some black fleck marks made with a Black Marker. Once I was done, I stamped my greeting and created the cluster of lemon near the bottom. I did add a little bit of Wink of Stella to lemon to give it a bit of shine.

The cluster of lemon was really easy to create especially when you are using the Lemon Zest Bundle by Stampin’ Up! The best part about the bundle is the you save 10% when you purchase it this way. One of the things that I LOVE about bundles is that you can stamp the image and punch it out with the coordinating punch.

So will you play along with this week challenge over at Global Design ProjectWant to see how other CASE the designer,  then head to the Global Design Blog to check out the gallery.
