Baby Boy Card

Hello friends!!!

If you follow me on Facebook, you would have seen this post that I posted. I wanted to thank each and everyone of you for helping us through this year and helping make my SU dreams come true!!! Here is what I posted yesterday..”Many of you know that I love to share my love of stamping with others. It truly has been thearpy for me! This past year has been a difficult one for me, and my family. I’m beyond grateful to all my family, friends, SU friends, and customers for all the support and for helping dreams become reality! I just found out that I place 13 out of 15 for leadership in Canada, and overall 21 in Canada! I know my angel was with me each step on the way! From the bottom of my heart..thank you!” I’m truly grateful for each and everyone of you!!!!

My project is one that I made a few weeks ago for a baby shower that I was invite to. I was so looking forward to going and the morning of I ended up putting my back out and couldn’t go, I was disappointed. The card that I create for my gift was made the morning shortly after I put my back out. I’m pleased how it turned out considering I was in so much pain that day!!!

Baby card made with Moon Baby stamp set! Colour with the new Stampin' Blends markers.

This card came together very quickly. I used one of our Whisper White Note Cards and Envelopes for the base. Add some soft sky card stock for a soft baby blue colour and layered it with the Bundle of Love Specialty Designer Series Paper. The cool thing about this paper is that one side it’s pink and gold and on the other is blue and gold!!!

My Baby image was stamped in Memento ink onto a piece of Whisper White Thick Card stock. Once the ink was dried, I used my Stampin’ Blends to colour it in. I used the Daffodil Delight Combo Pack, the Pool Party Combo Pack and Pink Pirouette Combo Pack to colour my image. Once it was dried I die cut out my image using my Big Shot machine and the Stitched Shape Frameltis!

You can order these supplies too! You’ll find all of these Stampin’ Up! supplies in my ONLINE  STAMPIN’ UP! STORE by clicking on all of the photo’s below.

Thanks for stopping by and happy stamping!!!

Sending Thought “Latte” Card

Happy Monday!!

Sorry for the late post, I tried to type up my post last night on Typepad, but Typepad's server was down! I hope you had a great weekend, ours was good with a trip to Waterloo to see Emily, some crafting time, some down time and a fun afternoon with my team yesterday at our monthly meeting!

My card today is a quick and simple one. Sometimes we just have to create this type of card to help us get the stamping MOJO back!!!

August Love Planner

Hello,

Are you a planner? Do you love to make a list, and check off your to do items? Then if you answered "YES" to these questions, then you are going to LOVE the planner that Stamping' Up! has in their annual catalogue. This new planner is design to fit all your needs as it's totally customizable! The best part is that you can start at any month and if you run out of pages, you can purchase the refill kit!

One of the things that I started this month was to create a scene on my calendar pages. I used my favourite stamp set "High Tide" to help me decorate the two pages!!

Of course when you are at the beach, you are going to find tons of seashells and knew that my pages need a few. I used the So Many Shells to help add a few shells around my page.

I can't wait to create my September calendar pages in the next few weeks and I will be sure to share with you.

Want to recreate my pages, I have listed all the supplies that I have used for you at the bottom of this post, and the best part is that you can either click on the clickable images, or the supply list PDF.

Hang your Stocking Christmas Card

Hello,

I know it's hard to think about Christmas when the sun is shining, and I have to be honest with you, I'm not really looking forward to the holiday season this year. The holiday season is ALWAYS my favourite time but this one will be a tough one without Corrie. He always made the holidays extra special for us!! I have been working on samples for my studio and upcoming classes and feel that I can create them right now as we are not in the holiday season mode yet and my emotional are not tugging at my heart yet!! Plus the sun shining does help with the creating!!

My project today is one that we made last month in our first Christmas Stamp a Stack class!. This is a great way to stock up on your cards as you make 10 cards each session (2 each of 5 designs).

I keep these cards simple as I know many of my customers like to mail their cards to family and friends. When adding ribbon, I always tell them it's up to them if they would like to add it to their cards incase they want to mail them!

My colours are

When I'm selecting colours for my card, I always go with the colour coordination on the pack of the Designer Series Paper Pack. Did you know that SU lists the colours on the pack? This is a handy little too!!

My pattern paper is the "Be Merry" Designer Series Paper pack and it's a great collection of pattern paper as it uses the traditional colours for the holiday season!!

I have listed all the supplies that I have used for you at the bottom of this post, and the best part is that you can either click on the clickable images, or the supply list PDF.

Coffee Cafe Card

Happy Monday!!

Wow, what a fabulous time we had on Saturday at my 1st Demonstrator Training Event. I had 14 ladies join me for a fun filled day of business training, lots of stamping, goody bags, food and of course prize patrol. What is a Stampin' Up! event without prize patrol..that is always our favourite part!!

One of the class that we did at our training event was designed around the Coffee Cafe Bundle. This is my number one go to bundle! And the funny thing…I don't even drink coffee. But I do love a good cold Vanilla Bean Frappuccini from Starbucks!!

One of the tips that I shared with the ladies at the event was how to create the pool party background along with the black splatter on it. They were all amazed that you could do this with our markers!!

I think my favourite part on this cup is the vellum lid as I feel it just finishes off the cold drink!!

I have listed all the supplies that I have used for you at the bottom of this post, and the best part is that you can either click on the clickable images, or the supply list PDF.
