Beauty of Friendship Alcohol Technique Card

Happy Monday!

Hope you had a great weekend! It was another hot and humid one here which was a good excuse to stay inside and check somethings off the to do list! I don’t know about you, but I’m ready for Fall weather and everything that fall has to offer!

With all this hot and humid weather we really do have some amazing sunshines each night! I love watching how quick the sky changes in colours from one colour to the next. Its so stunning and beautiful!

My inspiration for my card today came from those gorgeous sunsets. Awhile back I was having fun creating a variety of background with the Alcohol Blending Technique that I decided to create this card with one of them. For my colours of Stampin’ Blends, I used Pumpkin Pie, Daffodil Delight and Real Red. Want to learn how to do this cool background, you can click here to watch my video.

The trees came from the Beauty Trees dies. I embossed the top of my tree with the Bark 3D Embossing Folder, I must in your collection! The grassy hill was created with the Basic Borders dies.

Penguin Place Friend Cards – Global Design Project #300 – Case the Designer

Happy Friday!

Hope you are having a great start to your weekend! It’s been a rainy day here which meant it was the perfect day to spend sometime in my studio! Since it was raining, I decided to do a pop up Facebook Live on my Stamp with Anne Business Page featuring a sneak peak from the new July to December Catalogue that will start on Aug 3rd.

Introducing the new Penguin Place Bundle. OMG…these penguins are adorable and I can’t stop stamping and creating with them. The best part is they have a coordination punch that goes with it.

I decided to play along with this week’s CASE the Designer Challenge over at Global Design Projects. This was Project #300. When you CASE the designer you can choose to CASE  the layout, colour scheme, the theme or image and then make it your own. I really like the background wash and thought it was the perfect place to start with my CASE.

How adorable are these wintery friends?? So you are probably wondering where the adorable animals come from? They come from the new Penguin Playmate Designer Series Paper that will be part of the second Sale-A-Bration that will run from Aug 3rd to Sept 30. You can choose this paper with every $60 order during SAB (Sale-A-Bration)

Hats Off Alcohol Blending Technique – Monday Night Crafting Session #25

Happy Monday!

Hope you are having a great start to your week! Sorry for lack of post this past week it was a little crazy around here. School is winding down here and with that comes lots of task to do for students as we prep for the next school year. Plus we had a Graduation in the house as my oldest graduated from the University of Waterloo on Friday. Sadly her graduation ceremony was virtual but we had fun celebrating her on Friday! So with all this going on meant not much time in my studio to craft and work my business!

Today, I’m sharing a project that we made in our Monday Night Crafting Session. I’m popping in to share a  Monday Night Crafting Session project with you. For this crafting session we focus on the Hats Off Bundle. Honestly,  I have to admit this was one bundle that was not on my shopping radar. But after my good friend Rose shared her adorable projects with me, I had to order it and I’m so glad that I did.

In our Facebook Live, I share with them how to create the cool background for the hat using the Alcohol Blending Technique. This technique is very hot and trendy now and it’s very simple to do. All you need is Stampin’ Blends, Vellum Card Stock, Water Painters and Rubbing Alcohol that is at least 75% or higher.

One of the feature I love about the Hats Off bundle is that you can use it to create projects for the young and old and any gender. It’s one of those bundles that you want to have in your collections as it so versatile.

Stamparatus – Sunday Facebook Live Video

Hello,

This week for our Sunday Facebook Live, I’m excited to share the new Stamparatus Tool with you. It’s a must-have tool for all stampers, the Stamparatus helps you perfectly align stamp images, stamp multiples of the same project quickly and precisely, and get complete ink coverage.

When I was creating my projects for today, there is so much that I could share with you on the Stamparatus tool, but I wanted to keep it simple and not overwhelm you at the beginning. I will share more techniques in the future with it.

Stamparatus

The two projects that I’m sharing with you today features two different techniques that you can do with the Stamparatus. One way will show you how to create a template for your die cuts and the other will be showing you how to do a technique called Hinge Stamping.

Stamparatus Hinge Stamping Technique

The Hooray on this card was done with the Broadway Birthday stamp set along with the Spectrum Ink pads. I created my own ink pad with Lemon Lime Twist, Granny Apple Green, Pool Party, Bermuda Bay and Blueberry Bushel re inkers. How does the Stamparatus work on this projects, you use it to create the line of Hooray, that is called Hinge Stamping!

Stampartus Project

On this project I wanted to show you have to create a template for your labels so that you can easy stamp and recreate this cards many times. This was card was inspired by my friend Heather. She share the design and supplies with me to create it. Thanks for the inspiration Heather.

Would you like to recreate these projects. Grab your supplies and follow along with me as I show you step by step how to make the two projects that I share above with you.

If you place an order from today to Tuesday at midnight, I will send you the supplies to create these two projects. You will just need the Colour Your Season Stamp Set, Broadway Birthday stamp set, Real Red Ink Pad, Memento Ink, Spectrum pad with the Reinkers colours that listed above, Granny Apple Green, Old Olive and Real Red ( or Cherry Cobbler ) Stampin’ Blends.

Eclipse Technique – Painted Harvest

Hello,

First, I would like to welcome you to the home of my new blog! Back in the spring, I decided it was time to register my blog domain and thought it was time to switch to a new simple and clean blog layout. A great big thank you to Brian and Nicole at Integrant Services for a smooth transition. We will be adding a few new feature in the next few days and I can’t wait to share them with you!!!

If you search Pinterest, them I’m sure you have see the latest technique crazy called “The Eclipse”  When I first saw this technique I was WOWED and thought that is too hard and complicated.  But actually it’s the opposite, it’s very simple and easy to do!!!

Eclipse technique using the Painted Harvest stamp set and the Happy Birthday framelit. #stampinup, #technique #stampwithanne

When doing this technique, the first thing that you need to do is stamped the background on a piece of card stock. I used the Painted Harvest stamp set and stamped my flowers in Sweet Sugarplum, and Berry Burst. The Centre of my flowers is stamped in Early Espresso and the leaves are done in Old Olive. The little set of dots are done in Sahara Sand.

After you have all your stamping done, you are going to run your card stock thru the big shot machine, I used the big shot platform and the precision plate along with the Happy Birthday Thinlits Die . I used the Big Shot brush to help release all those little pieces from the die. But wait..you need to keep those little pieces as you need them for this technique.

Using the Foam Adhesives Sheets, add your dimensional strips to your Happy Birthday word and add to the negative image on your card stock. Now he is where the magic comes, you need to piece all those missing pieces back into your card in their negative spot. It’s a little bit of work, like working on a puzzle, but the end result is gorgeous!!

You can make this project too!! You’ll find all of these Stampin’ Up! supplies in my ONLINE  STAMPIN’ UP! STORE by clicking on all of the photo’s below:

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!!
