Hello,
Hope you are having a great day!
Today, I’m sharing another card that I made with the Prairie Grass Stamp Set. This stamp set is perfect for dusting off your watercolour brushes and creating some fun backgrounds.

The Prairie Grass stamp set is a keeper! It’s one of those stamp set that you want in your collection as it’s the perfect way to send a card for those hard and difficult times. The greetings are beauitful!

As I shared earlier this stamp set is a great one to use with many different technique. On my card today, I did a background wash with ink pad, watercolour paper and a watercolour brushes.
To create the background wash: Press on the lid of the ink pad until you get a pool of ink. Using a watercolour brush, add some water to the ink and swishy it around. Then pick up the ink with the brush and add to your watercolour paper. I like to do brushstrokes to create the background wash on my paper. I like to start light and then add more colour as need to create the look I’m going after. For my background wash, I used Pool Party, Bubble Bath and Fresh Freesia Ink Pads.
Measurements for my card:
- Basic White cardstock – 5 1/2″ by 8 1/2″ score at 4 1/4″
- Pool Party cardstock – 3 3/4″ by 5
- Fluid Watercolour Paper – 3 1/2″ by 4 3/4″

I can’t wait to share my projects with you the rest of the week.
