Happy Monday!!
Today I have technique card to share with you. This month at Technique class, we learned how to do the Mirror Technique using the High Tide stamp set from Stampin ‘ Up! This set is one of my favourite from annual catalogue as you can use it for so many different occasions!!!
All you need to do for this technique is a silicone mat, stamp set and an ink pad. First you are going to ink up your image and stamp the image onto the silicone mat. Then one you are done that, flip it over and lay the silicone mat on your cardstock and transfer the image by rubbing the silicone mat. Then once you are done, lift up and you have a mirror image. Then stamp your image just above the mirror image so it looks like mirror image to the image.
My colour combination is Peekaboo Peach, Night of Navy and Whisper White. I can’t get enough of this colour combination!!!

I was wondering if when you say silicone mat are you actually meaning acetate?? The silicone mat I have is not clear so I am not sure how you would be able to position the stamp where you want it if you cannot see through the mat! Thank you
Thanks for the comment. I actually did use my Silicone Mat from Stampin’ Up! The mat is grey but when you stamp in Black ink you can use see the image on the mat. Then when you flip the mat over, the image will be upside down and then you can position it on your project where you want it. Then I just rub the mat to transfer the image. Let me know if you have any more questions.
