Hope you had a great weekend and that you found some time to relax and recharge! It was a quiet weekend around here with lots of time sitting outside enjoying the fresh air!
This week, I’m featuring the All AFlutter Bundle and the Paper Medley Designer Series Paper. Both of these items can be found in the May to August Catalogue and in our Online Store.
When I first saw this bundle in the catalogue, I knew that I had to have it especially since it had a coordinating punch to go with the stamp set.
Don’t get me wrong, I’m a huge fan of dies but I do love how quick and easy it is to stamp and punch out the image.
My focus for the card was the gorgeous stamped butterflies as I wanted to showcase all the details in them. I started by stamping off my solid image butterflies in Crisp Cantaloupe a few times before I stamped onto my Basic White Cardstock. Then I stamped over top with my detail butterflies in the same Crisp Cantaloupe ink. This helps create that softer tone in the background.
I love how the Crisp Cantaloupe Butterflies pop up against the gorgeous black and white dots pattern paper. This simple card was quick and easy to create.
Measurements for my Card:
- Basic White Cardstock – 5 1/2″ by 8 1/2″ score at 4 1/4″
- Basic Black Cardstock – 4″ by 4″
- Paper Medley Cardstock – 3 3/4″ by 3 3/4″
