Today, I’m sharing a card that I made for one our weekly sketch challenges in our team group. Each week, my team member Cindy posts a sketch for us to create with me. If you have been following me, you know that I love sketches as they are a puzzle waiting to be solved but only with Stamps, Paper and Ink.
When I saw the sketch, I thought it would be fun to focus on the pattern paper. The new Homemade Sweetness Designer Series Paper filled with gingham patterns made it easy to create with it.
When I sat down to create my card and was looking at the sketch, I thought the middle piece would be fun embossed with the new Ladybug Picnic 3D Embossing Folder in the new Crisp Cantaloupe cardstock. I love the detail lady bugs!
My greeting was stamped in Misty Moonlight ink onto a Basic White cardstock die cut from the Stylish Shape Dies. These dies are one of my top favourite in my stamp room! I layered the greeting onto a piece of Crisp Cantaloupe cardstock that was also cut out from the Stylish Shape dies. The finishing touch on my card was a little strawberry embellishment.
