Today, I’m sharing with you alternate project that I created with the No Matter the Weather Paper Pumpkin Monthly Kit. I adore the stamp sets in this kit especially the boots and have to say by far it’s my favourite one in a long time!!
When I was creating my cards for today, I made two cards that are very similar in designs, the only thing differences is the colours. I created one in the brights patterns and then one in the 2019-2020 Incolours colours.
When I was looking for a colour combo, I turned to my colour coach to help with some inspiration. I knew that I wanted to use the Brights 6 by 6 Designer Series Paper pack and decided to go with the colour combnination of Coastal Cabana, Gorgeous Grape, Whisper White and Melon Mambo.
When it was time to colour my boots, I stamped the image in Memento ink onto a piece of Shimmery White card stock. Then using my aqua painter and Melon Mambo ink pad, I coloured the boots and fussy cut them out.
After creating the first card, I thought it would be fun to create the exact same card but in softer colours. The 2019-2020 Incolours were perfect and I decided to go with Purple Posy, Whisper White and Blackberry Bliss. When it was time to colour my boots on this card, I stamped my image in Memento Ink onto a scrap piece of white card stock. Then using my Purple Posy Stampin’ Blends, I coloured them in and fussy cut them out.
