Half Full Christmas Card

Happy Monday!!

I hope you had a great weekend! My heart is full after a fun weekend filled with fun activities. Spent the day with Emily on Saturday as we checked out a Christmas craft show, had lunch then took her to get some groceries before we came home and then Sunday I spend some time with friends creating a beautiful winter planter for my front porch!! If you follow me on Facebook, you can see a picture of it there, and if not you can find me at Stamp with Anne on Facebook.

My project today is one of the cards that we created to share with my team members. The stamp set that i used is called Half Full and it was designed by the one of the latest Million Dollar Achiever Linda Bauwin!!

Create fun tags and gift with this Half Fun stamp set!!!

Not being a wine drinker, I was very hesitate with getting this stamp set. But after hearing a few customers comment on how much they liked it, I thought I would get it for classes. I’m so glad that I did, it’s been a popular one at classes!!

Christmas Card created with the Half Full stamp set by Stampin' Up!

I had to add a little bit of Wink of Stella to my wine glasses to make it look like it was sparkly and bubbly!! I’m loving the non traditional colours of Black. Whisper White and Old Olive for the holiday this season!! Swoosh!!

Eclipse Technique – Painted Harvest

Hello,

First, I would like to welcome you to the home of my new blog! Back in the spring, I decided it was time to register my blog domain and thought it was time to switch to a new simple and clean blog layout. A great big thank you to Brian and Nicole at Integrant Services for a smooth transition. We will be adding a few new feature in the next few days and I can’t wait to share them with you!!!

If you search Pinterest, them I’m sure you have see the latest technique crazy called “The Eclipse”  When I first saw this technique I was WOWED and thought that is too hard and complicated.  But actually it’s the opposite, it’s very simple and easy to do!!!

Eclipse technique using the Painted Harvest stamp set and the Happy Birthday framelit. #stampinup, #technique #stampwithanne

When doing this technique, the first thing that you need to do is stamped the background on a piece of card stock. I used the Painted Harvest stamp set and stamped my flowers in Sweet Sugarplum, and Berry Burst. The Centre of my flowers is stamped in Early Espresso and the leaves are done in Old Olive. The little set of dots are done in Sahara Sand.

After you have all your stamping done, you are going to run your card stock thru the big shot machine, I used the big shot platform and the precision plate along with the Happy Birthday Thinlits Die . I used the Big Shot brush to help release all those little pieces from the die. But wait..you need to keep those little pieces as you need them for this technique.

Using the Foam Adhesives Sheets, add your dimensional strips to your Happy Birthday word and add to the negative image on your card stock. Now he is where the magic comes, you need to piece all those missing pieces back into your card in their negative spot. It’s a little bit of work, like working on a puzzle, but the end result is gorgeous!!

You can make this project too!! You’ll find all of these Stampin’ Up! supplies in my ONLINE  STAMPIN’ UP! STORE by clicking on all of the photo’s below:
