Hope you are having a great weekend! I have been on holidays this week as it was March Break for us and it’s been a busy week. I had my friend Mary visit from Ohio for four days, then had some appointments, coffee with a friend, stamped virtually with a friend and to end the week I have my team gathering tomorrow. It’s been a busy week, and I’m tired! I’m looking forward to chilling tonight and catching up on some of my PVR shows!
This week I’m featuring the Playing in the Rain stamp set. Now this stamp set is part of a bundle where you can get the matching Playing in Rain dies but sadly when I went to order this bundle the dies were not available. But good news, you can order the dies now!
The Playing in Rain bundle is actually part of the Rain or Shine Suite. This suite is the perfect collection for your spring projects. Plus, you can use this stamp set for baby cards, get well cards, kids birthdays and the list goes on!
My first project that I’m sharing today was a Simply Stamping card! I have to admit these cards are hard to make, as I want to keep adding product like embellishments, ribbons, dies and punches. But the idea of Simply Stamping is only ink, paper and stamps.
The second project that we made was a CASE. Sometimes, when I sit down to create, I will go back and CASE myself with layouts and that is what I did on this project.
The last project, I think is my favourite card of the Crafty Session! I love the bright colours and how simply it is to create! This is one layout that you can use for many different occasions!

A few weeks ago, I shared that I had my big scrapbook fundraiser in support of the Cardiac Rehab Prevention Program at St. Joesph’s Hospital in London, ON. This is my 6 year doing this fundraiser and one that is very special to my family! At the crop, I love to spoil our attendee’s with pillow gifts throughout the day.
This was one of the pillow gifts that they received during the day. My team member Patty shared this template with me that she had created from a template that she saw on Chic’ n Scratch Blog with Angie Juda. When I saw it, I knew it would be the perfect gift for them. My team member Patty was so sweet and created all these pillow gifts for me! I wish I had taken a picture of all them stacked in a box, they look lovely! Thanks for your help Patty!
We had made 40 of them in using the gorgeous Country Floral Lane Designer Series Paper. We add a little Cardinals as they are very special to me! I love how these turned out and they were a huge hit with the ladies at the Scrapbook Crop!
