That Smile Scrapbook Layout

My project today is one that I made  back in February for my Memory Keeping Club. As I was looking for a sketch to create my page from, I came across one on Pinterest. As soon as I saw the sketch, I knew the picture that I wanted to use.  I absolutely LOVE these picture of Corrie. If you knew my husband you know that he had infectious smile that lite up the room when he was in it. I have had so many tell me how much they miss that smile and his laugh!! I know the girls and I miss it more and more every day.

Once I was finished with this page, I fell in LOVE with it so much that I'm going to hang it in my studio! I know that our angel is with us each and every day, but seeing his smile each day us help get through this stormy sea!!

Tips and Tricks on my layout….

  • Carried Away is the Designe Series Paper, this was one of the products that you can earn for FREE during Sale a Bration
  • I used the Lift me Up Bundle ( stamp set and matching framelits)
  • My colours are Smoky Slate, Whisper White, Peekaboo Peach, Mint Macaroon and Watermelon Wonder
  • I used the Layered Letters Alphabet and Letters for you stamp sets

I thought I could write this post without tears, but nope..I have tears running down my face. For the girls and I seeing pictures of Corrie daily helps us get through this stormy sea! They make us smile as we know he is with us each move we make..we have a special guardian angel watching us!!

Thanks for all the cards, emails, visit, messages these last few months, we really appreciate it!!

Boo Scrapbook Layout – Scrap and Crop Weekend Retreat

We are still going strong here at our annual Scrap and Crop Weekend Retreat!! The ladies have been very busy working on there projects and I have seen some beautiful scrapbook layouts created this weekend. Tons of inspiration for sure in this room!!

This year for my make and take, I decided that I wanted to create a page for Halloween. I knew that most of the ladies would be taking pictures next weekend of their family and friends celebrating this fun occasio and I wanted to give them a head start on their documenting.

While on Pinterest, I came across a page that Erica Cerwin had done a few years ago, and I love the basic layout and thought it would be perfect for my page as beginning place to start!! Thanks for the inspiration Erica!!

I used the Envelope Punch board to create an a little envelope that would be the perfect place to hold their journaling card. I also used the new Seasonal Stencils and Whisper White craft ink to create a little mask in the background. I thought it added a little spooky to the page!

The following products were used on my page today:

  • Halloween Night Specialty Designer Series Paper
  • Halloween Night Designer Washi Tape
  • Envelope Punch Board
  • Seasonal Stencils
  • Spooky Fun Bundle
  • Letters for you Bundle
  • Black, Pumpkin Pie, Crushed Curry and Whisper White cardstock

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!!

Last week at our Scrapbook Club, we had fun creating this summer page. I don't know about you, but one of my favourite things to do is eat yummy ice cream on those hot summer days!! My layout today was inspired by Rachel.

I used the 2 3/8" Scallop Punch to create the Ice Cream layers on my cone. I used 2013 Incolours to create all my elements on the page.

Happy Friday!

Last night was our Scrapbook club and we had a blast completing 3 layouts around summer activities! When I saw the June Paper Pumpkin kit with all the pinwheels, I thought it would be fun to use those supplies to create a page. While searching for a layout design, I came across one the Janet created and thought it would be fun to switch up using "our Canadian colours of Red and White." Thanks for the inspiration Janet!!

I used the new What's Up stamp set and matching punch for my arrow at the top of the page. I also used the new Project Life Framelits to create my label at the bottom. I still need to add a title and was waiting for my new Letter Thinlits to arrived before I did that!! I love the colour combo of Blackberry Bliss, Hello Honey and Sahara Sand!!
