Hope you had a great day! It’s been a good one around here. I worked in my room today as I had a list of item on my to do list that I need to check off and I’m happy to say that I got alot accomplished today!
Today, I’m sharing another project that I made with the Crafting With You Bundle. I have been showing off samples with it all week here on my blog and social media. For my project today, I wanted to share my scrapbook page that I created.
When I first started into the world of crafting, my first love was scrapbook layouts. I loved created layouts to document all the fun memories that our family did. I still love to scrapbook but have to say ” I make more cards these days. I love giving them to family and friends.
My vision for this page was to create those things that make me happy in my craft room. As you can see from my page, I created squares that showcase my favourites: Paper Trimmer, Stampin’ Cut and Emboss Machine, Scissors, Baker Twine, Watercolour tools and pattern paper! I was think that I would add some photo’s to this page, but decided to leave it like this! I might frame this in my room, I love how it turned out!
Crafting truly is my therapy and love that I can come into my room, play some music and create away. Many days, I can spend hours in my room. My thoughts for this page is that I’m going to take pictures of those things that make me happy in my room and put them into the squares. I will be taking pictures of my card stock, stamps, ink pads, blending brushes, my puppy Timbit and a picture of me working in my room.

Today I’m sharing with you the Make and Take that we offered at our Cardiac Rehab and Secondary Prevention Fundraiser last weekend. Before the fundraiser, I emailed all the ladies a sneak peak picture of the layout and explain that they could create this layout with a $5 donation to the fundraiser. They also made a love theme card but forgot to take a picture of it.
My theme for the Fundraiser Crop is usually Hearts as February is Heart Month. This year I used the gorgeous From my Heart Suite from Stampin’ Up! This gorgeous suite uses the colours of Real Red, Whisper White and Flirty Flamingo.
When I start creating a scrapbook page, I usually start by looking for a sketch on Pinterest. Once I find a sketch that I like it’s like a puzzle trying to figure out the elements of the page. When I started designing this page, I placed all the From My Heart Suite products on my desk and the coordinating card stock colours and then started creating my page.

Happy Christmas Eve!!
Can you believe it’s only one day till the big day!!! We are already and looking forward to the fun to begin in a few hours. The food, the laughs, the gatherings and most of all just hanging with family!! Looks like it’s going to be a Green Christmas here again this year. We need snow to make it feel more magical.
This is was one the of the pages that we created last month in our Scrapbook Class. The ladies requested a Snow theme page and I couldn’t resist! The Snowman Season bundle was the perfect fit for my page.

One of my passions is scrapbooking! I love document moments in our albums so that we can remember those memories for years to come. My goal this holiday season is to work on my albums. I need to finish off 2018 and finish working on 2019.

When I was going through my pictures for my blog, I realized that I didn’t share my February Me Scrapbook Layout with you. I was inspired by a page that I saw in Scrapbook Cards and Today Magazine. I love the idea of a page about “Me” and I thought it would be the perfect way to reflect on Mindful Activities that I like to do during those long Winter months.
Lots of elements on this page which adds to the feel of the page. Reminds me of all the Mindful activities that I do! I pulled the colours for my page from my hat and a winter jacket. I went with Bermuda Bay, Real Red, White and Basic Black.

Hello,
One of the things that I have been working on when I have spare time in my studio is my Scrapbook Albums. I have been going back and forth as to what size of album that I wanted to use. Last year, I documented Project Life weekly in a 6 by 8 album. I’m still working on this but I’m slowly getting caught up.
This year, I have decided to go back to 12 by 12 scrapbook layouts so that I can use the pages that we are creating in our Scrapbook Club each month. I have decided to use my monthly pages in my albums and then following those pages would be my favourite pictures from that month. I’m excited to say so far, I’m caught up to date. I’m hoping that continues for the rest of the year.
At Christmas, we had a new family picture done and I wanted to document it in our story. I can’t STRESS how important it is to capture your memories and document them. When love ones pass away, these pictures become treasures and having those pictures to look at sure helps you get through those tough days.

Happy Monday!
One of my popular class each month is my Scrapbook Club and class. Each month we create a 12 by 12 traditional layout and a 12 by 12 pocket page. I love mixing these together as it’s creates a great way to tell your story. I have been a huge fan of documenting our memories over the years. Trust me when a love one passes away, these memories become treasures and they are what helps you get through those tough days.
This was the layout that we created last month using the Snowflake Showcase products. Sadly, these product have retired but you still can get everything else that is showcased on this page.
