Thanks for stopping by today! When you sit down to create, where do you look for inspiration? Often times, I’m turning to the gorgeous samples in the Stampin’ Up! catalogue. These books are not only for paper crafting supplies but they are filled with tons of inspiration!
My project today was inspired by one that I saw in the Annual catalogue on page 40. When I sat down to look for some inspiration for my card today, I fell in love with a sample that they created to showcase the Simply Fabulous and Biggest Wishes stamp set. I thought, why not create that sample using the Amazing Phrases stamp set you can earn for FREE during Saleabration when you place a qualifying order during the months of July and August.
Omg, I love how this card turned out! It’s gorgeous with the bright summer colours. The greeting is once again my focus point with flowers around it! Then softly in the background you see the words “Let Celebrate” stamped on a pattern paper from the Butterfly Kisses pattern paper. The cool thing about my card is that I used Dots and Spots die to cut out the pattern paper which creates the fun spotty background. I love this layout and can’t wait to try it for a different occasion!

I’m excited to share with you today our projects that we made in our Crafting Session tonight. This week we have been focusing on the Splendid Day Suite that you can find in the July and December 2022 Mini Catalogue. This new suite is gorgeous with its beautiful foil designer series paper and one that you can use for many different occasions.
Today in our Crafting Session, we created two projects using the products from the Splendid Day Suite. Back in June, I participated in an event with Stampin’ Up! called Creativity Now. During this 4 hour event, we created make and takes with the Splendid Day Suite, watch behind the scenes video on how this suite came to live and watch presentations from other demonstrators. I really like the projects and the techniques and wanted to share them with you.
The first project that I share with you was a technique card that featured water colouring. I love how we used the Stampin’ Blends to create a watercolour wash background.
This card you could easily switch up for different occasions or themes.
The second project I’m sharing with you showcases how to add a white background using Blending Brushes.
I love how this card turned out! It’s reminds me of flowers grow by a building!

Today, I’m sharing a card that I made with my team during our Stamp and Chat Session. I love spending time with my team each Tuesday night as we chat and stamp! I started Stamp and Chat back in July 2020 as a way to help my team stay connected during the pandemic. Everyone was loving the sessions, I decided to continue them as way for my team to connect each week. Here we are two year later still doing them! Wow!
My project today is a CASE that I created from the amazing July to December catalogue. Our concept artist do an amazing job creating samples that show case our products but can be for any level of stampers. From those that are just starting out, to those that sometime stamp and to those that are avid and stamp every day!
This card turned out beautiful! I love how you can use this card for any occasion but it has me thinking of Christmas. This would be a gorgeous card to send to family and friend! Yes, it’s bit time consuming but so worth it!
I stamped the leaf stamp in Versamark ink onto my Old Olive card base. This helps create a watercolour look in the background. My pieces were cut out with the Splendid Stems die, adhesive sheets and the Mini Cut and Emboss machine. Using the adhesive sheets really helped with adhere the dies to the Vellum card stock.
My image was stamped in Old Olive onto a piece of white card stock. Using the Splendid Stems dies, and the Mini Cut and Emboss machine, I cut it out. It was popped up onto my vellum layer. I also die cut out a label from the white card stock using the Splendid Stems dies and the Mini Cut and Emboss machine. The greeting was stamped in Cherry Cobbler and popped up to my card. The vellum layer was added to my card base.
The final touches on my card was adding the twine bow and rhinestones. I didn’t have either of these in Cherry Cobbler so I made my own using Stampin’ Blends. I colour the white twine and rhinestones with Stampin’ Blends. The last special touch to my card was the Open Leave Trinkets which adds the right touch of gold to the projects.
There is so much you can do with the Splendid Day suite as it’s one of those collections you can use for any occasions! I hope you have been inspired this week with my projects. It’s been so long since we craft together in our Crafting Session. June was an insane busy month and I’m finally on holidays and enjoying time in my studio (aka happy place).
Last night, I finally got to stamp with you during our Crafting Session that focused on the Hippest Hippo Stamp set and Hippo Dies. It’s one of my favourite days of the week as I get to stamp with all of you in our Crafty Session! Each week in my Stamp with Anne Facebook Group, I go live and share a crafty project with you. I pick a product of the week and then I share samples that I have created all week and then we finish off the week creating a project together!
I love how we connect with each other and chat while we stamp. It’s like you are in my craft room with me! We would love to have you join our group so you can craft with us!

Today, I’m sharing a project that we made last night during our Stamp and Chat Team Facebook Live. Each week, I go live with my team in our team facebook page and we chat about all the updates happening in Stampin’ Up! and with our team! Then I finish off the night with a stamping project and challenge them to make a project with the sketch that I share with them.

The neat thing about this fancy fold is that you can either have the fold going Portrait or Landscape. I will be sharing another sample with you on Friday using this Fancy Fold.
My Hippo was stamped in Memento Ink onto white card stock. With my Smoky Slate and Flirty Flamingo Stampin’ Blends, I coloured him in. Then using the matching Hippo dies, I cut him out with my Mini Stampin’ Cut and Emboss Machine ( another MUST in your collection). The tub, grass and splashes were all cut out with the Hippo Dies.
