Hello,

Hope you are having a great day! It’s a very hot and humid day here with the temperatures feeling more like 45 degrees. Which means its a great day to spend some time in my happy place aka my studio.

Last night over on my Youtube channel, I shared a variety of samples made with the Lily of the Valley Bundle and gorgeous Valley in Bloom Designer Series Paper.

My card today was inspired by a sketch that I saw on my good friend Mary’s blog. Mary does this really cool series called ” Make it Mary Monday” where she gives you the pieces and measurements you need to create the card and then she shares a video and other samples on that template. The one thing that I love about these templates are they are quick and easy and they a great way to use up pattern paper. Thanks for the inspiration Mary!

During our video, I share another sample with you using that sketch template. I think this sketch template is a keeper and one that I will use over and over. I think it would be great for Christmas, birthday or thank you cards.

Measurements for my card:

  • Basic White cardstock – 5 1/2″ by 8 1/2″ score at 4 1/4″
  • Pretty Peacock cardstock – 3 7/8″ by 5 1/8″
  • Valley in Bloom Layer 1 – 2 3/4″ by 4″
  • Valley in Bloom Layer 2 – 1″ by 4″
  • Valley in Bloom Layer 3 – 3 3/4″ by 1″

Isn’t that paper gorgeous? I think the Lily of the Valley Bundle will be one that I keep in my stash as it’s a great one for all occasion cards.

Make sure to check back again this week as I have other samples to share with you.
