Hope you are having a great day! It’s been a wonderful day around here. I had my team gathering today and it always fills my bucket spending time with my team. We stamped, chatted, snacked, learned about the new Stampin’ Hot Foil System, had prize patrol and create two cards for our make and takes. We had a fabulous time!
Today, I’m sharing another project that I made using the Stampin’ Hot Foil System and the Botanical Glow Bundle. I love that you can use this stamp set on it owns or add the foil to add an extra touch to your projects.
For my card today, I wanted to share how you can stamp and use the foil on pattern paper. I stamped the Botanical Glow stamp in Secret Sea ink onto a piece of Nature Walks Designer Series Paper. Then using the Stampin’ Hot Foil System, the Silver Foil, and the Botanical Glow Hot Foil Dies, I foiled the silver leaves over top of the Secret Sea Leaves. The neat thing about this bundle is that it’s not meant to line up so it helps create that overlay of the two leaves.
I stamped my greeting in Secret Sea ink onto a piece of Basic White cardstock. Using the Banner Punch, I punched out the greeting and added it to my card. The greeting is from the Banner Sayings stamp set. I finished off my card with Rhinestones and the retired Silver Trim that I had in my stash. I love how elegant this card looks!
Measurements for my card:
- Basic White cardstock – 5 1/2″ by 8 1/2″ score at 4 1/4″
- Secret Sea Two Tone cardstock – 4″ by 5 1/4″
- Nature Walks Designer Series Paper – 3 3/4″ by 5″
