Happy Monday!

Hope you are having a great day! I can’t believe that today is the last day of July, where the heck did that month go? Which also means that we have one more month of summer, time to make some fun memories and check off those items that are still on your summer bucket list!

Today, I will be sharing with you a sample that I created with the Crafting With you bundle. This adorable bundle is a must have if you have crafty people in your family. Think stamping, knitting, quilting, and sewing, this set is the perfect way to let those know you love them! This is one of the bundle that I will be featuring in my Virtual Class tomorrow over on Facebook at 4:30pm on my Stamp with Anne page.

This stamp set was designed by a Million Dollar Achiever named Irene Wendlandt  When I first saw it, I had to have it for a few reasons. First, I love the adorable Cut and Emboss Machine image, and second the sewing machine reminds me of my mother in law who was an avid quilter and sewer. But you can’t resist those adorable dies especially the paper trimmer and scissors!

For my projects today, I was inspired by my scissors sitting on my desk, I thought it would be fun to create a bunch of them in some of my favourite colours: Azure Afternoon, Berry Burst, Lemon Lime Twist, Bubble Bath and Blueberry Bushel.

All my scissors were die cut out twice, one in the card stock colour mention above and the other in silver foil. Once they were die cut out, I cut off the tops from the colour card stock and adhere them to the silver die cuts.

Measurements and Supplies for my card:

  • Lemon Llime Twist card base – 5 1/2″ by 8 1/2″ score at 4 1/4″
  • Basic Black card stock – 4″ by 5 1/4″
  • Basic White card stock – 3 3/4″ by 5″
  • Scraps of Azure Afternoon, Berry Burst, Lemon Lime Twist, Bubble Bath and Blueberry Bushel card stock
  • Silver Foil
  • Stylish Shape Dies/Cut and Emboss Machine
  • Crafting with You Bundle

Aren’t these scissors so cute? I can’t wait to share the other samples with you this week. I even have a scrapbook page to share with you.
