This week I have been focusing on the Sweet Songbird Bundle. This adorable bundle was at the top of my list when I saw the new Annual catalogue. Anytime that you can stamp an image and punch it out with a punch that is a match made in heaven!
My project today was inspired by a sample in the Annual catalogue and you can find it on page 152 in the bottom corner. Anytime, I sit down to play with new product, I always turn to the catalogue to see what the amazing concept artist created! Their works is amazing! How fun would it be to have that job at Stampin’ Up!?
Right now I’m loving the new Parakeet Party and Tahitian Tide colours! These new gorgeous in colours are so bright and fun and I love how fresh they look on projects!!
My card came together fairly quickly! I stamped the branches onto the white card stock with Crumb Cake Ink Pad. The nest image was stamped in Crumb Cake Ink onto Crumb Cake paper and then fussy cut out. My leaves were stamped in Parakeet Party ink. My adorable bird was stamped in Tahitian Tide Ink onto a scrap piece of white card stock and then punched out with Songbirds Builder Punch. My welcome sign was stamped in Crumb Cake ink onto Crumb Cake card stock, and the greeting was stamped in Memento Ink. Once my sign was done, I fussy cut it out and popped it onto my white card stock. The ropes were stamped in Crumb Cake Ink. This layer was adhere to the gorgeous Tahitian Tide Designer Series Paper and then to the card base.
