Happy Monday!
I hope you had a restful and enjoyable weekend! It was a quiet one around here with a little bit of housework, enjoying walks outside in the sunny weather and hanging out in my studio.
One of the things that I have been working on is organization. I have been pulling the products that are leaving us from the August to December catalogue and making room for new products on my shelves. It’s a great time to give the room a little bit of purging and organizing.
One of the things that I have been working on is adding all the new dies to my Magnet cards from Stamp-n-storage. This is my favourite way to store my dies as with a quick glance I can see what dies collections I have.
Once I have my dies on the magnet cards, I use my DYMO labeller to create a label for the magnet card. On my label, I put the name of the die collection and how many dies are in that set. The reason I do this is so that when I’m cleaning up after a class or a crafting session, I can quickly count to make sure all my dies are on the sheet.
Another organizing trick that i do is to label all my Embossing Folder with the name of the folder. I use my DYMO Labeller to create a label and adhere it to my embossing folder. This way with a quick glance, I can see the name of the folder. This is also a great idea for when you are doing classes as it helps your customers know what name of products they are using so they can add to their shopping list!
This is how I store my embossing folder. I use the crate holders from Stamp-n-Storage. This was their old design but since has been updated to the Creative Crate. I love that I can flip through the box and see what folder I have on hand. Makes crafting so much easier!
I also use the crate design for my Magnet Cards. I have the old storage crates one for my 6 by 8 magnet cards and one for my 5 by 7 magnet cards. My goal this year is to purchase the storage cards for my magnet sheets. This way you can label them and if any dies fall off they stay inside the holder.
Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!!
