Wowzers, the weeks are just flying by and it doesn’t help that each night is busy with something. It was a busy weekend but I did enjoy some time in my studio on Sunday which was so nice to just craft!
Today, I’m sharing a project that I made last week using the Warm and Toasty stamp set and the Curvy Dies.
When I saw these adorable images in the Warm and Toasty stamp set, I knew that it would be the perfect addition to my stamp collection. Plus you could use this stamp set for card, scrapbook pages and 3D items.
One of my favourite things to do is show my customers different ways of using products. On my card, I used the Classic Christmas Designer Series Paper for my background and then using the Curvy Dies to create a snowy hill behind my Polar Bear. Did you see I cut off the skates on the bottom of the polar bear, this way he is walking in a winter wonderland and not skating. This give you another way of using this stamp!
My polar bear was stamped in Memento Ink onto a piece of Thick White card stock. Then I coloured him in using the Cherry Cobbler and Shaded Spruce Stampin’ Blends. Here is a great tip for you: Stamp your image in Memento Ink onto Thick White and then colour your with Stampin’ Blends. I found that it was easier to colour with and much easier to do some shading and highlight with the dark and lights colours.
