I have another project to share with you that features the Nothings Better Than Bundle from Stampin’ Up! This bundle has been on my desk and I’m having fun creating a variety of projects with it. It’s one of those sets that you can use for many different occasions!
When I sat down to create my project for today, I was looking for some inspiration on colour combinations. I came across Wendy Crawford’s Colour Splash Combinations and knew it was the perfect colours for my summer theme card.
My main focus for my projects were these colours, and have to say it’s not a combination that I would have try but love the end result! Thanks for the inspiration Wendy!
I stamped the lemons and umbrella in Daffodil Delight Ink on my Daffodil Delight card base. This creates like a water mark image on your project. I thought it would add a fun element to the card.
My pattern paper on my project came from the fun and colourful paper from the Playing with the Patterns Designer Series Paper. This paper is the perfect size in 6 by 6 and comes in many different strips and polka dots patterns. It’s a great pack of paper to have on hand!
I stamped the cocktail glass in Black Memento Ink onto my label. My label is from the Tasteful Labels dies. Then I stamped the drink with ice in Calyspo Coral Ink pad, the lime in Shaded Spruce ink pad and the umbrella in Daffodil Delight Ink Pad. My greeting is from the Itty Bitty Birthdays stamp set.
