My project is a fun birthday card using the Zany Zebras stamp set. This stamp set is my product of the week highlight and I can’t wait to share what I create with those adorable zebras.
My project today is one that I CASE from my friend Zahara! When I saw this card, I knew that I had to recreate it as I just love the colour combination of Night of Navy, Purple Posy and Coastal Cabana.
My pattern paper came from the fun Playing with Patterns designer series paper. This pack of paper is 6 by 6 and consist of stripes and dots in playful colours. The colours in this pack are gorgeous!! I can see me using this pattern paper a lot! Thanks for the inspiration Zahara!
I stamped the stars in Gorgeous Grape ink pad onto my Purple Posy card stock. I love how this it makes the stars pop. I layered the pattern paper onto a piece of Night of Navy card stock and then onto my card base. Using my die cutting machine, I cut a white circle from the Stitched Shape dies and a Bermuda Bay label from the Tasteful Labels dies. My greeting was stamped in Night of Navy and my Zebras were stamped Memento ink.
Did you notice the adorable bow and the faceted dots? Aren’t they cute. The bow is the Night of Navy ribbon that is part of the Playful Patterns Combo Pack and the dots are from the Playful Resins Dots. Both of these are a must in your craft room!!
