Thanks for stopping by today, I hope that you are staying safe and doing well! When I sit down to start creating, I love to find a colour challenge, or sketch challenge to get me started with some inspiration for my project.
I used Stampin’ Up! #keepstamping challenge as my inspiration for my project today. The colours this week are Lovely Lipstick ( Retiring), Blushing Bride, Old Olive and Gorgeous Grape. It’s bright and bold colour palette that is perfect for Spring.
When creating my card today, I decided to go with the a design layout that I saw on my friend’s Patty Bennett blog. She had created this card in different colours and I knew it would be a perfect start for my project today.
I decided to go with the colours of Blushing Bride, Gorgeous Grape and Old Olive as my palette and I love how it turned out!
One thing that drew me to this project was the mirror image effect that you create with the large flower stamp set. I first stamp my large stamp image in Blushing Bride and then stamped it again upside down right under the other one. This creates that mirror image effect. It’s so cool and I love how it turned out.
