Sorry for being MIA this week, but sadly I have been sick all week with a Chest Infection. Slowly starting to feel better and trying to get ready for the holidays. My girls and I spent yesterday baking our holiday favourites and we had tons of fun. It sure is nice to have them home for the holidays!
My card showcase a technique called Faux Pearl. This technique is so easy to do and all you need is Frost White Shimmer Paint and a sandwich bag. Open the sandwich bag, put your hand inside and then scrunch up the bag in your fist. Then pour the paint onto a the silicone mat and then pick up the paint with the sandwich bag. Then daub it on a piece of cardstock. When it dries it will give you a pearly look to the cardstock that will create the “Faux Pearl”
My snowman was coloured with the following Stampin’ Blends: Cherry Cobbler, Shaded Spruce, Smoky Slate and Pumpkin Pie. Then I added Clear Wink of Stella so my snowman looks like he is glistening in the snow!
My pattern paper is the paper that came in last month Paper Pumpkin Kit. I love using my supplies for alternative projects!
