It’s Saturday and that means it’s time for another Facebook Live. This week I thought I would showcase this month’s Paper Pumpkin Kit called You Are My Anchor. At Onstage, we saw a sneak peak of this kit and I couldn’t wait to get it! I love the colours and the nautical theme. The best part is that you can use this kit for any occasion or theme. 

On my Facebook live, I share the joy and excitement of opening the kit, and then walk you through all the different elements in the monthly kit. Each kit comes with an exclusive stamp set, a classic stampin spot that won’t repeat in colour in a 12 month period. Plus you get all the supplies to create the projects in the kit.

One of my focus for the video was to show you how to create an alternate card with all the supplies that you had left over in the kit. I wanted to focus on the Lighthouse with a little bit of technique on my cards. Creating a background wash with an aqua painter is so trendy and I love this look! My tip: you want to use an Aqua Painter and Shimmery White card stock. 

Once I was done creating my background wash, I ran my shimmery white card stock thru the Big Shot with the Seaside Embossing Folder and then I add a little bit of flecking with an Island Indigo marker.
