Bloom Where You Plant – Monday Night Crafting Session #27

Happy Monday!

Hope you are having a great start to your week! I’m playing catch up here today in the studio as I work on my to do list and hopefully can check off a few items!

Today, I’m sharing a project that we made back in June during one of our Monday Night Crafting Sessions. This was week #27 and we focus on the Bloom Where you Plant Suite! This has to be my TOP Pick from the Annual catalogue. I love the colours, the patterns and of course all the plants. We are huge plant lovers here and we often find ourselves browsing the new section at our local garden centre.

In our Facebook Live, we did a little bit of mystery stamping! I haven’t done one of those in a bit and thought this was the perfect layout to create that with!

Hats Off Alcohol Blending Technique – Monday Night Crafting Session #25

Happy Monday!

Hope you are having a great start to your week! Sorry for lack of post this past week it was a little crazy around here. School is winding down here and with that comes lots of task to do for students as we prep for the next school year. Plus we had a Graduation in the house as my oldest graduated from the University of Waterloo on Friday. Sadly her graduation ceremony was virtual but we had fun celebrating her on Friday! So with all this going on meant not much time in my studio to craft and work my business!

Today, I’m sharing a project that we made in our Monday Night Crafting Session. I’m popping in to share a  Monday Night Crafting Session project with you. For this crafting session we focus on the Hats Off Bundle. Honestly,  I have to admit this was one bundle that was not on my shopping radar. But after my good friend Rose shared her adorable projects with me, I had to order it and I’m so glad that I did.

In our Facebook Live, I share with them how to create the cool background for the hat using the Alcohol Blending Technique. This technique is very hot and trendy now and it’s very simple to do. All you need is Stampin’ Blends, Vellum Card Stock, Water Painters and Rubbing Alcohol that is at least 75% or higher.

One of the feature I love about the Hats Off bundle is that you can use it to create projects for the young and old and any gender. It’s one of those bundles that you want to have in your collections as it so versatile.

Color and Contour Fancy Fold Card – Monday Night Crafting Session #23

Hello,

Thanks for stopping by today! Today, I’m sharing a project that we made in one of our Monday Night Crafting Session. I’m popping in quickly to share this  Monday Night Crafting Session project with you.

For this Monday Night Craft Session, we focus on the Color and Contour bundle and created a fancy fold card with it. I was inspired by a Fancy Fold card that a fellow Canadian demo shared with us in our Canadian Achiever Event. Thanks Stefanie for the inspiration!

The unique things about this fancy fold is that it open with two different flaps. It’s almost like it has a hidden panel until you open up the cards.

I’m loving the new 2021 – 2023 Incolours this year! I really love the Pale Papaya and Soft Succulent colours together, they are so soft and pretty together.

Hello,

Thanks for stopping by today! Today, I’m sharing a project that we made last week in our Monday Night Crafting Session. I’m popping in quickly to share last week Monday Night Crafting Session with you. Last week we focus on the gorgeous Hand Penned Memories and More card pack.

When you browsing thought the catalogue, you would find these gorgeous card pack under the Memories and More section. The neat thing about this card pack is that you can use it for either scrapbooking, memory keeping or creating cards with. There are so many options. I actually use them to write sweets notes to my team and customers along with the other options I listed above.

I love the gorgeous pattern on the background and decided to make it my focal point on my card. I cut the 4″ by 6″ Memories and More card up into 1″ stripes to create the unique background.

Honestly, I really look forward to my Monday Night Crafting Sessions, I love how we connect with each other and chatting while we stamp. It’s like you are in craft room with me!

These adorable Party Puffins are so stinkin cute that I can’t stop using them. I was inspired by a layout in the annual catalogue and when I saw the design I knew it would work with the Party Puffins! As you can see on my card I cut up a bunch of pattern paper at varies sizes to create my collage background. The pattern paper that I used is the new Pattern Party Designer Series Paper pack that you can earn for FREE with a qualifying order or when you host a party!
