Playing in the Rain Stamp Set – 3 Projects – Crafty Session #86

Hello,

Hope you are having a great weekend! I have been on holidays this week as it was March Break for us and it’s been a busy week. I had my friend Mary visit from Ohio for four days, then had some appointments, coffee with a friend, stamped virtually with a friend and to end the week I have my team gathering tomorrow. It’s been a busy week, and I’m tired! I’m looking forward to chilling tonight and catching up on some of my PVR shows!

This week I’m featuring the Playing in the Rain stamp set. Now this stamp set is part of a bundle where you can get the matching Playing in Rain dies but sadly when I went to order this bundle the dies were not available. But good news, you can order the dies now!

The Playing in Rain bundle is actually part of the Rain or Shine Suite. This suite is the perfect collection for your spring projects. Plus, you can use this stamp set for baby cards, get well cards, kids birthdays and the list goes on!

My first project that I’m sharing today was a Simply Stamping card! I have to admit these cards are hard to make, as I want to keep adding product like embellishments, ribbons, dies and punches. But the idea of Simply Stamping is only ink, paper and stamps.

The second project that we made was a CASE. Sometimes, when I sit down to create, I will go back and CASE myself with layouts and that is what I did on this project.

The last project, I think is my favourite card of the Crafty Session! I love the bright colours and how simply it is to create! This is one layout that you can use for many different occasions!

What do you think? Aren’t these little critters so cute! This is one suite you want to add to your collections as you can use it for so many different occasions!

Each week, I go live in our Stamp with Anne Facebook page to bring you a crafty session that showcase 3 projects around a product. Sometimes the product is a stamp set or a bundle! Then after the video, I share the measurements for the projects, so it’s a FREE project tutorial for you each week! It’s my way of saying ” thank you ” for all the support with my business! I hope you will join me this Wednesday night at 7:30pm, I can’t wait to stamp with you!

Friendly Gnomes Nugget Treat Holders

Happy Monday!

I hope you are having a great start to your week! It’s the last week of school before our March Break and I can’t wait to spend time with friends, sleep in and spend time in my room crafting! The count down is on till Friday!!

This week on my social media channels I will be sharing projects made with the Friendly Gnomes Stamp Set and The Lucky Clover stamp set. I felt these two products are a match made in heaven as they pair well together for projects.

A few weeks ago, I shared that I had my big scrapbook fundraiser in support of the Cardiac Rehab Prevention Program at St. Joesph’s Hospital in London, ON. This is my 6 year doing this fundraiser and one that is very special to my family! At the crop, I love to spoil our attendee’s with pillow gifts throughout the day.

This was one of the pillow gifts that they received during the day. My team member Patty shared this template with me that she had created from a template that she saw on Chic’ n Scratch Blog with Angie Juda. When I saw it, I knew it would be the perfect gift for them. My team member Patty was so sweet and created all these pillow gifts for me! I wish I had taken a picture of all them stacked in a box, they look lovely! Thanks for your help Patty!

We had made 40 of them in using the gorgeous Country Floral Lane Designer Series Paper. We add a little Cardinals as they are very special to me! I love how these turned out and they were a huge hit with the ladies at the Scrapbook Crop!

Hello,

Happy Sunday! I hope you had a great day! It’s been a great one around here as I craft wtih my friend Katie this afternoon which is always good for the soul!

Today, I’m sharing with you a project that I made this week in my team Stamp and Chat session. Each week, I go live on Tuesday night with my team where we talk about weekly updates, things happening in our community and then we end the night with a crafting session. I always share a project that is designed around the product of the week that I’m highlighting on social media that week.

This week I have been sharing projects made with the new gorgeous Irresistible Blooms Bundle, the Loose Frosted Dots and the Hello, Irresistible Designer Series Paper. All these products are part of the Online Exclusive Release, which means you will only find these new products online and not in a catalogue.

My project today was a CASE from the Online resources that Stampin’ Up! share with us. This sample was on the flyer and I thought it would be fun to recreate for you! I love how it focus on the gorgeous Hello, Irresistible Designer Series Paper.

Cutting Dimensions for project today:

  • card base – Petal Pink card stock – 5 1/2″ by 8 1/2″ score at 4 1/4″
  • Hello, Irresistible Designer Series Paper – 4″ by 5 1/4″
  • Hello, Irresistible Designer Series Paper – 3 3/4″ by 4 1/4″

My greeting was stamping with Daffodil Delight ink and the leaves were die cut using the Irresistible Blooms dies and Flirty Flamingo card stock. The finishing touch on my card was adding the Loose Frosted Dots (omg these are a must in your collection, they are currently not available, hopefully more will be in stock soon)
