Heartfelt Love Scrapbook Layout – Make and Takes

Hello,

Today I’m sharing with you the Make and Take that we offered at our Cardiac Rehab and Secondary Prevention Fundraiser last weekend. Before the fundraiser, I emailed all the ladies a sneak peak picture of the layout and explain that they could create this layout with a $5 donation to the fundraiser. They also made a love theme card but forgot to take a picture of it.

My theme for the Fundraiser Crop is usually Hearts as February is Heart Month. This year I used the gorgeous From my Heart Suite from Stampin’ Up! This gorgeous suite uses the colours of Real Red, Whisper White and Flirty Flamingo.

When I start creating a scrapbook page, I usually start by looking for a sketch on Pinterest. Once I find a sketch that I like it’s like a puzzle trying to figure out the elements of the page. When I started designing this page, I placed all the From My Heart Suite products on my desk and the coordinating card stock colours and then started creating my page.

Helpful Tips for my Scrapbook Page:

  • Whisper White 12 by 12 Card stock
  • Real Red Card stock – 4 1/4 by 4 1/4 inches
  • From my Heart Specialty Designer Series Paper – 4 inches by 4 inches
  • From my Heart Specialty Designer Series Paper Dot Pattern – 1 1/2 inches by 4 inches
  • Heart Doilies
  • Heart Punch Pack for the Scallop Heart and the Pattern Heart
  • Real Red 3/8″ Double Stitched Satin Ribbon
  • Flirty Flamingo Card stock – 1 3/4 inches by 6 inches – flagged with the Triple Banner Punch
  • Flirty Flamingo – 2″ Circle
  • White Scallop – Stitched So Sweetly Dies
  • White Tags – 2 of them – Bonanza Dies
  • Rhinestones
  • Real Red and Flirty Flamingo Classic Ink Pad

I can’t stress how important it is to get your photo’s off your devices and put into albums. You are documenting your story for future generations!! Plus it’s a great way to preserve memories!

Quick and Easy Gift Packaging Idea’s

Hello,

Today, I sharing some quick and easy gift packaging idea’s that you can give friends, family or customers if you are a demonstrator! These are gifts that all the ladies that attended my Fundraiser Crop on Saturday received.

After lunch,  I walked around to each person and thank them for coming to my fundraiser and helping us spread the love as I handed them their special pillow gift.

A quick and easy gift packaging idea using the From the Heart Suite. I used the From My Heart Specialty Designer Series paper to create a belly band around the Real Red Rhinestone packages. Then I used the Heart Punch Pack to punch out the Scallop Hearts and the patten hearts.

My greeting was stamped in Real Red onto the scalloped heart and the scallop hearts were punched out from the Designer Series paper. Adhere the pattern heart to a Flirty Flamingo Heart and pop up both hearts on to your belly band. A quick and easy way to show the ladies that you appreciate them!!!

Need to order supplies: You can either email me your order OR you can head to my ONLINE STORE.  Don’t forget to use the HOSTESS CODE: MVQWGHHV AND if you bump up your order to $50 you will qualify for hostess code special for the month of February.

Fundraiser Crop in Support of the Cardiac Rehab and Secondary Program

Hello,

My heart is full of love and gratitude as this past Saturday I spend the day with a room full of ladies that love to scrapbook and stamp!! These ladies were spending the day doing what they love and supporting a cause that is so close and dear to our hearts.

All the funds raised today will be donated to the Cardiac Rehab and Secondary Prevention Program at St. Joesph’s Hospital in memory of my sweet husband that passed away 3 years ago. I knew that I wanted to keep his legacy going thru this Memorial Fund. We are making a difference in other’s lives and knowing that helps to heal our hearts.

The ladies are busy at doing what they love…stamping and scrapbooking!

One of the ways we raise money is by selling a variety of Candy Bags. My mom starts making these in January and this year we had a total of 263 bags in a wide variety of chocolate kinds. They were a big hit with the ladies.

This is our 3 year hosting this fundraiser and I’m We VERY excited to say that we had a VERY successful day and I can’t wait to share more with you this week on our event. I will be sharing our pillow gifts and our make and takes with you in the next few days.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!
