Country Lane Treat Box

Happy Monday!

I hope you had a great weekend. Ours was amazing, my niece got married and it was a gorgeous wedding! Sunday was spent canning spaghetti sauce and getting caught out with things around the house. I had a little time to work in my studio, but looking forward to stamping this week!

Last weekend, I had a chance to play with the new Country Lane Suite and I absolutely in love with this suite. All the products  help create the country home feeling.

One of the new products that I was excited to try was the new Baker Boxes. These new boxes are the perfect size to hold cookies, cupcakes, muffins and so much more for gift giving.

I went with a simply belly band and tag to dress up my box. My belly band was created with the Country Lane Designer Series Paper and I  used two different patterns from the paper pack.

My tag was cut out with the Big Shot machine and the Stitched Shaped Framelits. I stamped the greeting in Blackberry Bliss and the flower images in memento ink. I coloured the flowers with my Stampin’ Blends, I used the following colours: Blackberry Bliss, Crumb Cake, Mango Melody, and Cajun Craze. If you love to colours, then you will want to add these alcohol markers to your collection!

Friendly Reminder:  You can either email me your order OR you can head to my ONLINE STORE.  Don’t forget to use the HOSTESS CODE:  FADYXBNA AND if you bump up your order to $50 you will qualify for hostess code special for the month of September, where you will earn a ” FREE EMBOSSING FOLDER OF YOUR CHOICE”  FROM ME as my way of saying “Thank you”

Thanks for stopping by and have a fabulous day!

Broadway Bound Suite – Sunday Facebook Live

Happy Sunday!

It’s time for another Facebook Live and this week I’m featuring the Stampin’ Up! Broadway Bound Suite and this month’s Paper Pumpkin Kit called Broadway Star. I have decided to switch my Facebook Lives to Sunday morning as this works better for my family so that I can do errands on Saturday morning!

Broadway Bound Facebook Live Projects

I wanted to show you a project from the Broadway Star Paper Pumpkin kit and then an alternate idea on how to use your supplies and show you how they coordinate with the Broadway Bound Suite that is available in the Annual Catalogue. Plus if you follow me on Social Media you know that I have started a new Product of the week highlight and this week we focus on Broadway Suite.

Broadway Bound Facebook Live Projects - Hooray Card

This project showcases one of the cards that you can make from the Paper Pumpkin Kit. Each month, you receive all the supplies to make the projects that are showcase in that kit. I wanted to show you that this kit also coordinated with the Broadway Birthday stamp set. Its a match made in heaven!!

The next project that I showcase, I wanted to show you an alternate way to use the products in the kit. The new Petite Treat Framelits were sitting on my desk and I thought why not use them. These new framelits create the perfect sour cream treat holder! On this project, I used the card base from the kit for my treat holder and then add the greeting from the Broadway Birthday stamp set. AS you can see these products work wonderful together and I’m so glad that Stampin’ Up! decided to go this route with the Paper Pumpkin Kits.

Saturday Facebook Live – Rooted in Nature Card and Gift Box

Happy Saturday!

It’s my favourite day of the week. Not only do I get to spend sometime in my studio creating with some fun new product, I also get to spend time with each of you! It’s like we are sitting in the same room, laughing and crafting away. That is the best way to spend a lazy summer day!!

Rooted in Nature Project for Saturday Facebook Live

This week I wanted to focus on one of my favourite new suites in the catalogue called Nature’s Poem. This suite is the perfect collection to create natural images that can be used with a variety of techniques. Plus this stamp set was designed to coordinate with Lovely as Tree stamp set. Best of both world, a little old mixed with new!

Rooted in Nature Fancy Fold Card for Saturday Facebook Live

My first project is a fun Fancy fold card. My friend Heather was over stamping with me one day and she share a card that she made using this Fancy Fold and I said it would be a fun card to create with the Rooted in Nature stamp set. So I just had to give it a try.

This fancy card opens up in three different layers. The first layer has your greeting and stamp image and this layer helps to hold your card closed.

Then when you open the banner/greeting layer, you will get your next layer which shows off the our beautiful Designer Series Paper. The Nature’s Poem Designer Series Paper is gorgeous with a mixed of solid prints with nature images! The colours in this paper are Blackberry Bliss, Cajun Craze, Grapefruit Grove, Mint Macaron, Petal Pink, Rich Razzleberry, Soft Suede, Tranquil Tide and Whisper White.

The last layer is where you would write your message to the person you were giving this too. I like to leave my cards blank till I’m ready to personalize it for the person that I’m sending too. You could also stamp an image and greeting in here.

Gift Box created with the Rooted in Nature stamp set created for Saturday Facebook Live

The next project that I shared with you on our Facebook Live was this box. This box is the perfect size to give a gift to someone special. You could fit a chocolate bar or money in there. While searching for 3D items inspiration, I came across a box that Erica Cerwin from Pink Buckeroo had made in her Facebook live using the Treat Time Bundle. When I saw how quick and easy this box was I knew that I had to give it a try for my Facebook Live. Thanks for the inspiration Erica.

Wondering where the label came from? I used the Eastern Medallions Thinlits to create the perfect label for my stamp image and greeting. What do you think of that new soft pink? It’s called Petal Pink and I love how gorgeous it looks with the Tranquil Tide!

My first project shows cases a fun new colours that will be available in the new Annual Catalogue. Let me introduce you to Granny Apple Green and Lovely Lipstick, I paired these two bright colours with Pool Party for a fun and bright colour combination.

Easter Treat Holder made with the Pizza Boxes.

This treat holder was made using the Pizza Boxes by Stampin’ Up! The neat thing about these pizza boxes is that they are easy to assemble and food safe.

My bunny was made with the Sweet and Sassy Framelits, and the Daisy Punch. The face is an image from the Foxy Friends Stamp set. I LOVE when you can create Punch Art from your punches and framelits dies!!!

Easter Treat Holder made with the Lots of Love Framelits Dies by Stampin' Up!

This treat holder was made from the Lots of Love Framelits Dies. I embossed the box with the Basket Weave Dynamic Impression Folder.

The best part about this treat holder is that there is a yummy chocolate waiting inside for you. Twix bars are one of my favourite.
