Hope you are having a great week! It’s been a great week so far, as I’m visiting my daughter and helping her get all set up in her new place. We have been busy shopping and have fun together.
I’m excited to finally share the news with you. Stampin’ Up! is introducing a new Stampin’ Hot Foil System Machine along with foil, stamps and dies.
When I first saw it, I was thinking to myself, do I really need it? I’m sure you are thinking the same thing, do you need this in your craft room? Well, I’m going to tell you that I decided to purchase it and let me tell you, I had so much in my craft room on the weekend. The first time I pull off that foil from my cardstock, I let out a squeal of delight, OMG it was magically.
If you are a person that loves heat embossing with embossing powder and a heat tool, then you are going to LOVE this but without the mess.
Here is a sample that I created with the Butterfly Fight bundle. I used the dies from the Butterfly Flight bundle to heat the Silver Foil onto my Basic White cardstock. Then using the masks that go with the Butterfly Flight Bundle, I colour the butterflies with Hydrangea Hue, Bubble Bath and Poppy Parade ink and a blending brush. Each colour was blending with a small blending brush and the Butterfly Flight Decorative Masks. Omg, these masks were so addictiing!
On this sample, I heat foil the butterfly image with Pink Foil and then colour the butterfly with Flirty Flamingo, Real Red and Melon Mambo Stampin’ Blends. Once, I was done colouring, I die cut them out with the dies and now I have beautiful butterflies to use on my projects.
Stampin’ Up! Hot Foil System In the Know:
- The new Stampin’ Up! Hot Foil System will be available on Friday July 10, 2026
- You will need a Stampin’ Cut and Emboss Machine to work with the platform and accessories
- There will rolls of foil, and a selection of dies released
- Hot foil works best on White Willow cardstock and Two – Tone Cardstock, you will see the best results as both of them are smooth.
- A FREE Hot Foil Craft class will be included with the Hot Foil System.
