Hope you are having a great start to your weekend! It’s been a rainy day here which meant it was the perfect day to spend sometime in my studio! Since it was raining, I decided to do a pop up Facebook Live on my Stamp with Anne Business Page featuring a sneak peak from the new July to December Catalogue that will start on Aug 3rd.
Introducing the new Penguin Place Bundle. OMG…these penguins are adorable and I can’t stop stamping and creating with them. The best part is they have a coordination punch that goes with it.
I decided to play along with this week’s CASE the Designer Challenge over at Global Design Projects. This was Project #300. When you CASE the designer you can choose to CASE the layout, colour scheme, the theme or image and then make it your own. I really like the background wash and thought it was the perfect place to start with my CASE.
How adorable are these wintery friends?? So you are probably wondering where the adorable animals come from? They come from the new Penguin Playmate Designer Series Paper that will be part of the second Sale-A-Bration that will run from Aug 3rd to Sept 30. You can choose this paper with every $60 order during SAB (Sale-A-Bration)

This is one that you can earn for FREE during Sale A Bration when you place a $120 order. But you will need to act quickly, there are only 5 days left of Sale a Bration.
I love the fresh colour combination of this card. It’s one that I will use again in the future. Just a reminder that sadly, Lemon Lime Twist is part of the 2017-2019 Incolour Collection and it will be retiring at the end of May. You want to make sure to protect your investment, so just your stock and see if you have all the supplies you need for that colour collection. Like your ink pads, refills, markers, ribbon and card stock. Once the retiring list goes up in the mid of April, these products supplies will go quickly.

Yesterday, I spent some time in my studio creating which is good for the soul. I was working with the Piece of Cake bundle and need a sketch to get the creative mojo flowing. I decided to head over to the Global Designs Project blog to see what they had and lucky me this week was a sketch challenge.
I love sketch challenges as it’s like a puzzle just waiting to be solved. The only thing is that our puzzle pieces are ink, paper and stamps.
When I saw the elements in the bottom right hand corner of the sketch, I knew it would be perfect fit for my cake stand and cake. My cake stand was stamped in Memento Ink onto a piece of Melon Mambo card stock and punch out with the cake builder punch. The cake was stamped in Memento ink onto a piece of scrap white. I coloured my image with Bermuda Bay, Lovely Lipstick and Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Blends and punch it out with the Cake Builder Punch and pop it up onto my cake stand.
I chose Bright colours for my project as it’s been so cloudy and snowy here. But using these colours in my studio sure helped to brighten my day!! My colour combination is Coastal Cabana, Granny Apple Green, Melon Mambo and Whisper White. Just looking at these colours make me happy!
Would you like to play along with this week’s sketch? Head over to the Global Design Project Blog to see others used this sketch to create their projects.

Over the weekend, I spent some time in my studio listening to my music and creating. It felt so good to just stamp after a VERY long week. Stamp and music is very therapeutic for me and I’m glad that I finally had sometime to just kick back and relax. I decided to play along with this weeks challenge over at Global Design Project. This week the #GDP142 was a sketch challenge. I love sketches as they are a puzzle just waiting to be solve with paper, inks and stamps!
Sitting on my desk was the Broadway Bound suite and I thought it would be fun to create a project using this sketch with those products. I had to admit when I saw this Product Bundle on display at Onstage, I couldn’t wait to get my hands on it. I love the colour combination, the bold patterns and the marquee signs. This is ONE suite that I would suggest you add to your collection!
When designing my card, I pulled the colour combination from the Designer Series Paper. This paper is a specialty paper as it has gold foil on one side of the pattern paper and bold prints on the other.
Birthdays are about party hats, balloons, cake and ice cream and the Broadway Birthday suite captures all those images in that bundle. This bundle features a Photopolymer Stamp Set and matching Broadway Lights Framelits. All you have to do is stamp the images and cut them out with the Big Shot machine and matching framelit. Now that is a match made in heaven!!!
This week I will be featuring the Broadway Birthday bundle in my Facebook Live on Saturday. I will be sharing two projects that you can create to give to family and friends. I can’t wait to share those project with you. Plus all week I will be sharing a few other projects that I have made with this fun suite!
Now it’s your turn to play along with this fun sketch. I will be filing this one away for future projects. Head over to the Global Design Project Blog to view all the other samples made with this fun sketch!

Over the weekend, I spend sometime in my studio playing with new goodies. Boy, did it feel good! I decided to check out some online challenges and came across this one over at Global Design Project.
This weeks challenge was to CASE A DESIGNER and the designer was Brian King. Brian is an amazing stamper. He loves clean and simple with layers! Plus he has an eye for colour and each project represents his creative style!
CASING THE DESIGNER, you have the choice to CASE the layout, the stamp set, the images, the colours or anything you like from the design.
I chose to go with the layout. I really like how clean and simple it was. For my stamp set focus, I chose to play with the new Lilypad Lake Bundle. This bundle is perfect for birthdays, thinking of you, congrats and any other celebration you need a project for.
I used the colour combination of Balmy Blue, Granny Apple Green and Poppy Parade. These colour just POP and scream summer fun to me! I had vision of the sailboats off in the distance as you sat on the beach relaxing and chilling.
I want to create a beach scene so I stamped the sun image in Memento Ink and then using a sponge dauber I colour in the middle of the sun. I actually went outside the Sun so it looked sun rays around the sun. Then I add the birds from the Hightide stamp set as you can’t be at the beach without see tons of birds flying in the air!
My water was stamped with Night of Navy ink and I coloured the boats with Balmy Blue, Granny Apple Green, Poppy Parade and Daffodil Delight markers. The best part about the boats is there is a matching framelits, so all you have to do is stamp and cut out with a Big Shot machine and the Lakeside framelits.
Would you like to see what other stampers did with this challenge. Then head over to the Global Design Project Gallery to see how they CASE THE DESIGNER – BRIAN KING.
You can order these supplies too! You’ll find all of these Stampin’ Up! supplies in my ONLINE STAMPIN’ UP! STORE by clicking on all of the photo’s below.
